In Co-Pilot or Co-Pilot+, the vehicle refuses to pass through a doorway that is visibly wide enough, or stops just short of it.
Check whether the available gap is genuinely tight. For example, arms or elbows extending beyond the armrests can create a real clearance risk that the vehicle detects.
- Switch to Manual Mode for full joystick control without automatic braking or steering.
- Drive slowly and manually through the doorway or narrow gap.
- Once clear, switch back to Co-Pilot or Co-Pilot+ for assisted driving.
- Reduce the vehicle buffers so the vehicle body is registered as smaller in the evSense System.
- Go to Settings > evSense > Vehicle Clearance.
- Scroll down and reduce the Left, Right, Front, and Back buffers as appropriate.
- Wait for the vehicle buffers to update.
- Switch back to Co-Pilot or Co-Pilot+ and check whether the vehicle can pass through the doorway.
Warning: Smaller buffers reduce the clearance that the vehicle keeps from obstacles. Drive attentively after reducing them.
- If the vehicle still cannot pass, upload a log and contact support@strutt.inc.
