(41.2 × 23–26 × 34.3–38.7 in)
A: The usable foot placement area on the footplate is 31 cm (12.2 in), and the total length of the footplate is 34 cm (13.4 in).
A: Use of the Strutt vehicle is limited to users with a body weight between 25 kg (55.1 lb) and 160 kg (352.7 lb).
A: The Strutt vehicle uses a four-motor architecture with rear-wheel drive and active front steering.
It has two front steering motors and two rear drive motors, with each rear drive motor delivering up to 1,000 W (1.34 hp) peak power.
A: The Strutt vehicle is designed to handle slopes up to 13°.
To ensure maximum safety and stability, the system features Intelligent Incline Adaptation. While driving on a slope, the Strutt vehicle will automatically adjust its maximum speed and acceleration based on the specific angle of the incline.
A: There are five speed levels, up to 8 mph (13 km/h).
Actual limits depend on local laws and regulations.
A: The Strutt vehicle is not equipped with integrated turn signals. However, it does feature a customizable horn function. Users can conveniently assign the horn to the multi-use button via the settings and adjust the volume to their preference.
A: The Strutt vehicle does not produce operating noise while powered on and stationary. When carrying a 160 kg (352.7 lb) load and traveling at a constant speed of 4 mph (6.4 km/h), the measured noise level at the user’s ear position is approximately 46–52 dBA.
A: The control range varies depending on the device and surrounding environment. Under ideal, unobstructed outdoor conditions, the Bluetooth control range is at least 10 metres (32.8 ft), with Android devices generally achieving a longer range than iOS devices in field testing. For a more stable connection, keep a clear line of sight between the phone and the vehicle and avoid large metal obstructions.
A: Strutt vehicle is rated IPX5 for water resistance. IPX5 is a water-resistance rating certified under IEC 60529 / GB/T 4208-2017. Laboratory test conditions are:
The Strutt vehicle battery is rated IPX6.
A: The Strutt vehicle minimum turning radius is 780 mm (30.7 in).
A: Yes. On the vehicle display, go to Settings → General → Units, then choose Miles (mi) or Kilometers (km).
A: The vehicle has a minimum turning radius of 780 mm (30.7 inches) and requires approximately 1,560 mm (61.4 inches) to complete a full turn.
Its active front-wheel steering and rear-wheel-drive configuration provides stable handling on slopes and uneven surfaces. Unlike some mid-wheel-drive powerchairs, it cannot rotate on the spot.
A: When someone is traveling in the opposite direction on the same ramp towards you, in Pathfinder feature, the Strutt vehicle will detect the moving obstacle using evSense and automatically calculate an avoidance path, making ongoing adjustments. It will slow down and wait for the obstacle to pass first. If the obstacle continues to block the path, the Strutt vehicle will replan a new path to go around it. If there is not enough space to pass, it will wait in place. And If you choose to manually take over at this point, you will need to select a location on the screen again after avoiding the obstacle.
A: The speed will match the current speed level. If you use Pathfinder or Waypoint in Level S, the speed will be reduced to below Level S for safety reasons.
A: Currently, Google Maps is not supported for autopilot navigation on the Strutt vehicle.
A: In Co-Pilot mode, the Strutt vehicle maintains a safety margin from surrounding obstacles, which can help reduce the risk of light elbow extension in many situations. However, sensors may not detect every suspended or outstretched body part, especially very close to the vehicle or outside the sensing area. In Manual Mode, the user remains responsible for judging space. Users should keep arms within the armrests whenever possible and must not extend an arm fully when passing through narrow spaces. Custom safety-buffer settings are being explored but are not confirmed.
A: The Strutt vehicle uses onboard sensing to understand terrain geometry and traversability. More detailed surface-type recognition, such as distinguishing normal ground, grass, and gravel, is under development. Waypoint navigation is intended to prioritize normal passable ground where available.
A: The Strutt vehicle continuously fuses LiDAR and other onboard sensor data to build a local 3D map of the surrounding environment and ground surface. Surface height discontinuities and roughness are detected from the 3D terrain model. Curb heights and surface angles are estimated from the same model to assess traversability and safety. The Strutt vehicle maximizes passability using precise 3D geometry, but in extreme narrow-gap scenarios, sensor resolution and control limits still require user awareness. The Strutt vehicle does not currently have an edge-following function.
A: The Strutt vehicle includes cliff and drop-off detection in smart driving modes. As a reference, drop-off detection is designed around height changes of approximately 13 cm (5.1 in) or more, though performance depends on terrain and sensor conditions. Obstacle sensing can help reduce contact risk for the screen, but sensors have blind spots, so users should remain cautious around very close or suspended objects.
A: Another person can move the Strutt vehicle using the Strutt app remote-control function within supported connection limits. The Strutt vehicle can also be assisted using the push handle where appropriate. In Manual Mode, the user should still be able to supervise movement and the helper should maintain awareness of the surroundings.
A: The evSense guide tape helps Strutt vehicle detect and navigate narrow ramps more accurately.
Each roll is approximately 22 m (72.2 ft) long. For best results, apply the tape along both sides of the ramp for the full length of the ramp, rather than only placing it on selected sections.
If you run out of the provided tape, you may use any similar yellow tape to finish marking the rest of the ramp. For more detailed application instructions, please refer to the instructions printed on the back of the tape.
A: Currently, the point cloud map can cover up to approximately 4 metres (13.1 ft). In the future, this range may continue to expand as we release upgrades.
A: The Strutt vehicle uses a 360° sensing system to continuously monitor its surroundings and help reduce the risk of collisions.
In Manual Mode: The system acts as an extra pair of eyes. When it detects an obstacle nearby, the joystick provides haptic vibration feedback to alert the user.
In Co-Pilot Mode: The vehicle can automatically slow down or come to a controlled stop if it detects that there is not enough space to pass safely.
In Co-Pilot+ Mode: In addition to slowing down or stopping, the vehicle can automatically adjust its steering to help navigate away from obstacles.
A: Currently, Waypoint Mode supports a map area of up to 300 × 300 metres (984 × 984 ft). Support for larger areas and longer routes will be introduced through future over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
A: The vehicle uses its sensing system to monitor the surrounding environment while travelling. Always select a speed appropriate for the terrain, visibility, and available space, and remain ready to slow down or stop.
A: Yes. Detection depends on the height and shape of the object.
As a general reference, vegetation at or above approximately 20 cm (7.9 in) can be detected as an obstacle, while lower vegetation may be treated as passable terrain.
A: Yes. The Strutt vehicle includes a lower safety zone that can detect feet, paws, and other low-to-the-ground objects near the base of the device and pause movement when they enter that zone.
More broadly, detection depends on the object’s height, shape, and position, though objects at or above approximately 20 cm (7.9 in) are generally more reliably detected as obstacles.
A: Yes. evSense remains active while reversing. The rear-facing camera can detect moving objects behind the vehicle, including people’s feet and pets, and provide assistance while backing up. This helps users reverse more safely and with greater confidence, especially in crowded areas.
A: The vehicle can currently store up to five maps. Users can create, switch between, and delete maps as needed. Each map uses the location where mapping begins as its origin and supports a single-level area within a maximum radius of 150 metres (492 ft) from that point.
A: This is uncommon and is most likely caused by matching wavelengths between the vehicle sensors and a home appliance’s infrared receiver. Strutt vehicle sensors operate at 940 nm, the same wavelength used by household infrared remotes. At certain angles, sensor light may be mistaken by a TV for a power-on command.
A: The available LiveView-map area depends strongly on the driving mode:
A: The battery indicator light shows both charging status and remaining battery. A red light means the battery is not charging, while a solid white light indicates it is fully charged. When blinking, the white light shows the battery level: 1 blink for 0–25%, 2 blinks for 26–50%, 3 blinks for 51–75%, and 4 blinks for 76–99%.
A: Yes. The Strutt vehicle includes a sleep mode designed to support quick wake-up and faster return to use without a full shutdown and restart. When using this mode, please follow the on-screen instructions and the user manual.
A: Long-range battery weight: 13.23±1.10 lbs / 6±0.5 kg

A: Dimensions: 8 * 4.3 * 12.2 inches / 204 * 108 * 310 mm
A: The airline battery range may vary depending on terrain, speed, driving habits, user weight, load, temperature, and battery condition.
Based on actual road testing with a 91 kg (200.6 lb) load on urban roads, the estimated range is:
Range Mode: approximately 9.07 miles / 14.6 km
Intelligent Driving Mode: approximately 7.77 miles / 12.5 km
To extend battery life, use Range Mode when appropriate and turn off Strutt vehicle if it will be idle for a longer period.
A: Different terrain, load, temperature, and driving habits will all affect the range. Avoid sudden acceleration and sudden braking, or enable Range Mode to retain only basic driving functions, which can also extend the range.
A: The 20-mile (32 km) range was achieved under controlled test conditions: a fully charged vehicle carrying a 91 kg (200.6 lb) load, at an ambient temperature of 20°C (68°F), with Range Mode enabled (evSense disabled). The vehicle was driven at a constant 4 mph (6.4 km/h) on a smooth, flat, hard surface until the battery was depleted.
Actual range will vary based on rider weight, terrain, temperature, and riding habits.
A: When powered on, evSense is active, and the system will consume power even when stationary.
Standby consumption per hour: long-range battery approx. 4 to 6%; aviation battery approx. 12 to 13%.
A: When powered off, the Bluetooth module remains active in the background and will consume battery.
Bluetooth cannot currently be turned off manually; to disable it, the battery must be removed.
Standby consumption every 24 hours: long-range battery approx. 2 to 3%; aviation battery approx. 4 to 6%.
A: In sleep mode, evSense is in standby to allow for quick wake-up.
Standby consumption per hour: long-range battery approx. 2 to 3%; aviation battery approx. 4 to 6%.
A: In Range Mode, evSense is fully disabled and only basic driving functions are retained.
Standby consumption per hour: long-range battery approx. 2 to 3%; aviation battery approx. 4 to 6%.
A: Sleep enabled in Range Mode.
Standby consumption per hour: long-range battery approx. 1 to 2%; aviation battery approx. 2 to 4%.
A: After the vehicle is powered off, Bluetooth remains active in the background and consumes approximately 2 to 3% of battery every 12 hours. Once the battery is fully charged, the charger will stop output for safety. At this point the vehicle draws from the battery, and once the level drops below 97% the charger will restart and top it back up. This is why you may see 100%, 99%, or 98% when you wake up in the morning, as the threshold for the charger to restart has not yet been reached.
A: You can charge the battery at any time. There are three main charging methods, which are covered in the guide below.
After every software update, it is important to charge the battery to 100%. This helps recalibrate the battery and ensures more accurate battery level readings, reducing the risk of unexpected battery discharge during use.
Note: During fast charging, the battery and charger may become noticeably warm. This is normal. Do not cover the battery or charger, as this may affect heat dissipation. Both the battery and charger have built-in protection against overcharging.
[battery charging.pdf]
A: The optimal storage temperature for the battery is 0 to 25°C (32 to 77°F), and the optimal storage charge level is 30 to 50%.
A: The optimal charging temperature for the battery is 20–25°C (68–77°F). The battery automatically adjusts charging power based on its condition. Charging may take longer at extreme temperatures. Charging is disabled below 2°C (35.6°F) or above 45°C (113°F).
A: High temperatures have minimal impact on range but mainly affect power performance. When the temperature exceeds 40°C (104°F), the vehicle will actively limit power output and reduce speed to prevent the battery from overheating.
Low temperatures affect both power performance and driving range. The chemicals inside the battery become less active in cold conditions, so the battery cannot deliver sufficient energy. The lower the temperature, the more obvious this effect will be.
The Strutt vehicle is equipped with advanced power management algorithms. It will automatically adjust operations based on real-time battery status, so you don't need to worry about it.
A: The maximum driving range of Strutt vehicle is measured under specific ideal test conditions. Actual range may vary depending on factors such as terrain, speed, driving habits, user weight, load, ambient temperature, and battery condition.
As a guide, the tested range is:
Range Mode: up to 20 miles / 32 km
Full-function Mode: up to 16.2 miles / 26 km
The driving range is tested by running Strutt vehicle at a constant speed until the battery is depleted. In everyday use, frequent stop-and-go movement, higher speeds, slopes, rough surfaces, or heavier loads may cause the battery to drain faster.
Strutt vehicle also consumes battery while idling, as it continues to power its technology. To save energy, we recommend switching to Range Mode when appropriate. Please note that Range Mode turns off the sensors, so it should only be used in suitable environments.
To further conserve battery, put Strutt vehicle to sleep when you are not using it for a while. For longer periods of inactivity, turn off Strutt vehicle completely to minimise battery drain.
When not in use for a short period, enable sleep mode or power off to conserve battery.
Enabling Range Mode can extend the range, but evSense-related functions will be unavailable.
A: 0~80%: 1.2 hours
0~100%: 1.8 hours
Charging time may vary slightly depending on the ambient temperature for your reference.
A: The Strutt vehicle uses a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. The 640Wh battery range on a full charge is 20 miles (32 km).*
*Actual driving range, obstacle clearance capability, and overall performance are influenced by a variety of factors. These include, but are not limited to: product configuration, battery health and age, driving behavior, total payload, terrain, and environmental conditions. Please note that theoretical test data serves as a reference and may not reflect performance in all real-world scenarios.
A: Strutt long-range battery is rated for a typical lifespan of approximately 3,200 full charge cycles.
A: Strutt vehicle can be charged in three ways:
1.Remove the battery and charge it through the battery charging port.
2.Keep the battery installed and charge through the charging port under the armrest cover.
3.Keep the battery installed and charge directly through the battery charging port.
A: Equipped with fast-charging technology, the Strutt vehicle can be charged from 0% to 80% within 2 hours, with a full charge taking approximately 4 hours.
A: Strutt batteries and chargers are independently designed and developed with smart charging protection. Charging automatically stops when fully charged to prevent overcharging.
Important: Do not use third-party chargers to avoid potential safety risks.
A: 1. Avoid deep discharge. Do not run the battery down to 0% whenever possible; recharge it when the remaining charge reaches about 20%–30%.
2. Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not charge or operate the vehicle in very hot conditions, such as prolonged direct sunlight, or in very cold conditions.
3. Recharge during long-term storage. If the vehicle will not be used for an extended period, charge it once every 1–2 months to prevent self-discharge from lowering the voltage too far to activate the battery.
4. Use the original charger. Always use the supplied, manufacturer-approved charger.
A: For safety and system stability, the Strutt vehicle BMS is not accessible to end users and its parameters cannot be viewed or changed by users. The BMS is core low-level battery-pack firmware that monitors voltage, temperature, and current in real time, and automatically applies protection against overcharge, over-discharge, over-temperature, and short circuits. Its logic is preset by the manufacturer and requires no user intervention.
A: No. The Flight Safe Battery does not support Level S. Its smaller capacity cannot support high-power discharge.
A: This message is triggered when battery communication is interrupted, usually because of a physical connection issue.
Do not force the battery into place if pins are deformed. Contact after-sales support for hardware service.
A: Charging may occasionally take longer because the battery is performing a calibration process. During this process, the battery analyses its charging and discharging behaviour and updates its capacity estimate, helping to improve the accuracy of the displayed battery level.
Charging also slows when the battery level reaches approximately 90% to safely complete the final charging stage. In rare cases, a deeper calibration may be required, which can take longer than a normal charge.
Once the charging indicator shows a solid white light, the battery is fully charged and ready for use.
A: When the battery is charged separately from the vehicle, the charger indicator provides only an approximate indication of charging progress. It does not display the battery’s exact charge level.
For the most accurate reading, install the battery and refer to the battery level shown on the vehicle’s display.
A: Approximate charging times are shown below:
| Battery type | 0%–80% | 0%–100% |
|---|---|---|
| Long-range battery | Approx. 2 hours | Approx. 4 hours |
| Flight-safe battery | Approx. 1.2 hours | Approx. 1.8 hours |
Actual charging times may vary depending on the battery temperature, condition, and whether the vehicle remains powered on while charging.
A: The battery may be charged at temperatures between 2°C and 45°C (36°F and 113°F). Charging is not permitted outside this range.
When the battery is very cold or hot, its power-management system automatically adjusts the charging power to protect the battery. As a result, charging may take longer than usual.
A: The vehicle automatically adjusts its performance according to the battery’s real-time temperature and condition.
A: Yes, but charging will take longer because the vehicle continues to consume power.
After the battery reaches a full charge, the displayed level may temporarily fall below 100%, or charging may restart to top up the battery. This is normal and is caused by the vehicle consuming power while it remains switched on.
For faster and more consistent charging, power off the vehicle before charging whenever possible.

A: Perpendicular wheels: safe up to approximately 12 cm (4.7 in). Parallel wheels: no fixed number due to risk. Typical gaps of 3–10 cm (1.2–3.9 in) are fine if passing slowly and perpendicular.
A: We do not recommend driving the Strutt vehicle on slippery surfaces. In wet, rainy, or snowy conditions, drive slowly and with extra caution.
A: The Strutt vehicle may automatically limit the highest speed in several situations to help maintain safe operation: on steeper slopes of around 10° to 13°, when the startup ambient temperature is below 10°C (50°F) or above 40°C (104°F), when battery level falls below 30%, and when descending a long steep slope with a full battery. The exact limit may vary with conditions, battery level, and system status.
A: Under reasonable road, weather, load, and turning-radius conditions, the Strutt vehicle is designed to support turning on slopes within its operating limits, supported by dynamic torque distribution and active steering. Users should still slow down, avoid sharp turns on steep or slippery slopes, and follow on-screen safety guidance.
A: The split-wheel design helps reduce friction during in-place turning and tight maneuvers, making rotation smoother and more controlled.
A: Refer to the resource below for more information on the Manual, Co-Pilot, and Co-Pilot+ modes and their corresponding maximum speeds.
[Basic driving modes.pdf]
A: Thanks to Active Steering, powerful rear wheel motors, and four-wheel independent suspension, the Strutt vehicle delivers a stable and comfortable riding experience to most users—even on uneven gravel paths. We always recommend trial driving the Strutt vehicle prior to purchase as personal preferences and needs differ.

To get even closer to the table, the armrests can be flipped up and you can use the Strutt app to remote-control the Strutt vehicle for micro-adjustments.
Note: When the armrests are flipped up, the integrated sensors on them will be inactive. For your safety, please proceed with caution and manually monitor your surroundings during this time to avoid any potential bumps or collisions.
A: The Strutt vehicle can handle sidewalks, gravel, bark, grass, and trails, but it is not recommended to drive over low-traction surfaces that may cause wheel slip, such as deep sand or muddy terrain.
A: Yes, it can handle obstacles up to 2 in (50 mm).
A: No. The sound heard in Range Mode is normal operating noise from the motors and motor controllers (electronic speed controllers), not the radar.
A: 1. Earlier mileage statistics relied on displacement of the rear-wheel center point. In indoor use, displacement from turning in place was not counted, which could significantly understate mileage and lead users to believe that the battery drained too quickly.
2. From version 2607 onward, mileage is accumulated from displacement of the center points of both front wheels.
A: No. Wheel orientation does not affect functionality when the vehicle is powered off. The brushless motors allow the wheels to rotate freely and independently. The suspension uses a patent-pending design that provides smooth, continuous shock absorption. Because of this design, the wheel positions may sometimes appear asymmetrical, which is normal.
A: The vehicle combines active front-wheel steering with rear-wheel drive, allowing it to steer in a car-like manner. This design prioritises stability and predictable handling on slopes and varied surfaces.
A mid-wheel-drive vehicle may offer a tighter turning circle, while the STRUTT configuration is designed to balance manoeuvrability with stable performance across more complex environments.
A: No. There is not enough space for the vehicle to complete a turn inside a 4 ft × 4 ft (1.22 m × 1.22 m) elevator. We recommend entering facing forward and reversing out carefully.
A: The vehicle uses an intelligent power-management system that adjusts power output according to the battery’s charge level, temperature, and condition. This helps prevent the battery’s overload protection from being triggered.
Performance may decrease noticeably when:
Under these conditions, high-speed driving, steep slopes, and obstacles may place additional demand on the battery and could activate shutdown protection. Reduce your speed, avoid demanding terrain where possible, and proceed with caution.
If the vehicle stops unexpectedly while driving, see Sudden Stop During Driving.
A: Yes. Adjust it from the relevant settings screen. After adjustment, the headlight switch is on by default.
A: No. Daytime running light brightness is fixed. The lights can only be turned on or off.
A: Wi-Fi provides the internet connection required for the AI assistant and over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
A: LTE, also known as 4G, provides an internet connection when your vehicle is not connected to Wi-Fi. It supports the AI assistant and software update notifications. LTE availability and stability may vary depending on the local network and service provider.
A: The vehicle can connect to both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks. However, it supports WPA2 security only and cannot connect to networks configured exclusively with WPA3.
If your vehicle cannot connect to Wi-Fi, check your router’s security settings and ensure the network is using WPA2. Once connected to a compatible network, the vehicle can access online features and receive available software and battery updates.
A:
A: The vehicle does not support web pages that require you to sign in, accept terms or enter additional information before accessing the internet. These are commonly used by hotels, cafés, airports and care facilities. The network may appear in the vehicle’s Wi-Fi list, but the vehicle cannot complete the browser-based authentication process. Use a compatible WPA2 network with a standard Wi-Fi password or a personal hotspot instead. For managed networks, contact the facility’s IT team to request access to a WPA2 network that does not require a browser login.
A: These are privacy indicators:
A: Yes. Both models use the same app, and supported functions—including remotely powering the vehicle on and off—are available for both models.
A: Yes. Multiple vehicles can be registered to a single app account.
A: No. A vehicle can currently be linked to only one app account at a time. To link it to another account, it must first be removed from the existing account. Alternatively, the same account may be used on another phone.
A: 1. Cause: This is usually caused by friction between clothing and the seat. Synthetic fabrics, carpets, or seat cushions repeatedly rubbing against skin or other objects can build up static charge on the body. When the charge touches a conductive object, such as metal vehicle parts, it discharges at once and produces a stinging shock.
2. Environmental factors: Dry conditions and synthetic-fiber clothing significantly increase the effect.
3. Solution: Apply leather conditioner or anti-static spray to the seat, or wear cotton clothing whenever possible.
A: 1. Cause: Continuous friction between tires and the road can cause the rubber tires to gain electrons and become negatively charged, while the road becomes positively charged. Charge travels through the vehicle and accumulates on metal surfaces. Because rubber is an insulator, the charge cannot naturally drain into the ground.
2. Environmental factors: Lower humidity makes it harder for charge to neutralize through water molecules in the air, so buildup occurs faster. Static is very likely at a minimum relative humidity of ≤30%, possible at 50%–65%, and unlikely above 65%.
3. Road surface: Different surfaces have different electron affinities and transfer different amounts of charge.
4. Individual differences: People differ in sensitivity to static electricity. Those with higher skin-surface resistance may notice it more strongly.
5. Solution: Install a static-discharge metal grounding chain at the rear of the vehicle to help drain accumulated charge.
A: They are reserved mounting holes for accessories.
A: It is not a vehicle fault. Static electricity is a physical effect caused by friction in dry conditions; it can occur with any person or vehicle in autumn, winter, or other dry environments.
A: No. The front light currently supports brightness adjustment or being turned off, but not beam-angle adjustment. This function will not be added to future products.
A: Yes. A small amount of movement is normal when the seat is unoccupied. This is intentional and makes the seat module easier to install and remove.
The seat should become more stable when occupied. Some movement may still be noticeable due to the vehicle’s independent suspension, particularly when the user shifts their weight or leans to one side. During normal seated use and driving, the seat should remain stable.
If the movement is excessive or the seat does not appear to be securely installed, stop using the vehicle and check the installation.
A: Static electricity can occur with any wheeled mobility device, but it may be more noticeable with this vehicle because it travels faster than many conventional powerchairs and manual wheelchairs. The higher speed creates more friction between the tyres and the ground, allowing a greater electrostatic charge to accumulate. This charge may then be released as a small shock when you touch another person or a conductive object.
This does not usually indicate an electrical fault with the vehicle. Installing a compatible anti-static grounding strap on the anti-tip bar may help safely discharge the accumulated static. Ensure that the strap remains in contact with the ground and does not interfere with any moving parts.
Avoid applying conductive paint, fabric softener or other household products to the tyres or upholstery unless they have been approved for use with the vehicle.
A: Regarding the charger, we plan to introduce an accessory pouch that allows you to store the charger underneath the Strutt vehicle's seat, so you can travel with peace of mind without worrying about forgetting it.
A: Strutt storage bags are designed for everyday weather. Light rain and splashes should generally be fine, but they are water-resistant rather than fully waterproof or submersible, and we do not recommend using them in heavy rain. The rear storage design prioritizes convenient daily access, so please keep valuables with you and stay alert in crowded or higher-risk environments.
A: Not at this stage. The Strutt vehicle is designed to handle a range of everyday outdoor surfaces, but we do not currently offer a deeper-tread tire option. We do not recommend using the Strutt vehicle on very low-traction surfaces such as deep mud, deep sand, or conditions where wheel slip is likely.
A: No. The rear push handle should not be used as a load-bearing hook because it contains precision sensors. If you need rear storage, please use the official rear storage accessory, which is designed to work with the push-handle area.
A: Bag is waterproof and is able to fit in one Strutt vehicle battery. We do not recommend loading more than 6.5 kg (14.3 lb) of items as it would compromise the uphill performance.
A: It depends on the battery type.
Long-range Battery (640 Wh): Not permitted for air travel.
Flight-safe Battery (288 Wh): Designed to comply with airline regulations and allowed on flights.*
A: If the vehicle has sufficient space and the ramp is suitable for the product's weight and dimensions, ramp loading may be possible. Users should follow the ramp manufacturer's load rating and safety instructions, keep the path stable and low-slip, and avoid any setup that requires unsafe manual lifting. Strutt is also evaluating accessories that may make lifting or loading easier in the future.

A: A sensor cover is provided to protect your sensors during transport.
A: The Strutt vehicle has a modular design and can be disassembled into 5 modules, including the battery, for easier transport. The heaviest module weighs approximately 43.7 lbs (19.8 kg), making it easier to load, unload, and transport when needed.
A: For transport protection, the Strutt vehicle includes standard protective covers for the LiDAR and the screen and joystick to help reduce routine abrasion and surface scratching. However, they cannot eliminate the risk of damage from severe drops or impacts.
A: This depends on your vehicle’s dimensions. Generally speaking, thanks to its modular design, the Strutt vehicle can be disassembled into five modules, allowing it to fit into the trunk of a compact SUV or larger vehicles. Full dimensions are listed on our spec page.
A: The Strutt vehicle includes dedicated tie-down and securement points underneath the chassis and can be properly secured inside a van for vehicle transport using standard tie-down methods.
A: The Strutt vehicle can be mechanically adapted for certain vehicle docking systems if the interface specifications and dimensions match.
It provides a pre-drilled mounting hole of 5/8-11 UNC (3A; 15.9 mm nominal major diameter). Since vehicle docking systems vary by brand and model, users should confirm compatibility and installation requirements with the docking system supplier or a qualified installer before use.
A: No. Mechanical compatibility with a vehicle docking system does not mean the Strutt vehicle is certified as a vehicle seat. The Strutt vehicle has not been crash-tested for use as an occupied vehicle seat and must not be used as a driver or passenger seat while a vehicle is in motion. Users should transfer to a certified vehicle seat before travel.
A: It can manoeuvre inside many wheelchair-accessible vehicles, but this depends on the available space and interior layout. Repositioning may require several forward-and-reverse movements. Check the vehicle’s internal dimensions, entry width, ramp and securement system before travelling.
A: The heaviest module weighs approximately 19.8 kg (43.7 lb). If this cannot be lifted safely, consider using assistance, a suitable ramp, a hoist or a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
A: Yes. L-shaped lifting hooks can be installed above the foot-guard plate. The hoist must be suitable for the vehicle’s weight, and all supplied lifting instructions and hoist-manufacturer requirements must be followed.
A: Compatibility depends on the specific equipment, vehicle model and installation layout. STRUTT can provide the vehicle’s designated attachment positions and available reference information. The vehicle has also been tested with a QLK system.
A qualified vehicle-conversion specialist or accessory installer should select, install and test the final equipment. They must confirm that the hoist or docking system is suitable for the vehicle and complies with the applicable safety and transport requirements.
A: No. The Freewheels are designed only for moving the vehicle when it is unoccupied. Although testing has shown that the system can move a 160 kg (352.7 lb) test dummy on level ground, its structural strength and long-term durability have not been fully validated for transporting passengers. Carrying a passenger may shorten its service life and make it difficult to cross obstacles safely.
For safety, we do not recommend the passenger to be seated while the Freewheels are in use.
A: Generally, no. Under Strutt’s Official After-sales Service Policy, water ingress is explicitly classified as “environmental damage” and is excluded from warranty coverage.
A: No. Strutt’s official after-sales policy specifically excludes damage caused by high-pressure washing under the frame warranty terms. This is consistent with the IPX5 rating: IPX5 only covers water spray from a standard nozzle at 12.5 L/min (3.3 US gal/min). The pressure and flow of a high-pressure washer exceed IPX5 test conditions and are outside the promised protection scope.
A: Yes. All products purchased through Strutt’s official channels or authorized dealers are covered by warranty under normal use. For the specific warranty scope and applicable conditions, refer to the Official After-sales Service Policy.
A: Metal frame components are covered for 5 years, and electronic components are covered for 1 year. For detailed coverage, exclusions, and applicable conditions, refer to the Official After-sales Service Policy.
A: For usage, software, or repair-related issues:
A: The warranty period starts on the product activation date recorded in Strutt’s system.
A: Provide the product serial number (SN) or proof of purchase to official customer service to inquire about warranty status. The customer service team will verify the information and confirm whether the product remains within the warranty period.
A: Strutt provides official customer support, but standard service options may be limited in remote areas, outlying islands, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other U.S. territories.
For warranty claims, returns, exchanges, or repairs in these areas, customers may need to cover round-trip shipping and handling costs to and from Strutt’s designated service center. Additional logistics risks or costs caused by customs, weather, delays, or regional shipping restrictions may also be the customer’s responsibility.
